Step into the darker side of history for an immersive creative night unlike our traditional paint parties.

For the first installment of our Dark History Paint Night series, we're traveling back to the 1920s to uncover the haunting true story of The Radium Girls — young women whose work painting luminous watch dials would ultimately change workplace safety forever.

But we won't just be telling their story.

We'll be creating in the glow.

Your Dark History Experience

During this special 3-hour experience, you'll:

☢️ Experiment with UV-reactive paints and glowing details

🖤 Paint beneath blacklights as your artwork transforms in the glow

📖 Hear the story of the Radium Girls woven throughout the creative experience

🎨 Choose from specially designed color palettes to make your butterfly your own

No artistic experience is needed. We'll guide you through the project step-by-step while leaving plenty of room for you to make it uniquely yours.

There's a reason we chose the butterfly for this story.

When the Lights Go Down...

Your artwork is designed to look beautiful in everyday light — but under blacklight, another side of it comes alive.

We'll use UV-reactive colors alongside our traditional paint palette, creating glowing accents and details that reveal themselves when the blacklights come on.

Dark History Paint Night explores real historical events that may include themes of illness, death, workplace exploitation and other difficult subjects. The Radium Girls story will be presented thoughtfully and respectfully.
